HOW IT WORKS
OUR PROCESS

Inquire
The first step is reaching out! We check availability and talk about the vision of your big day! It is important to make sure we are a good fit!

booking
We send a detailed proposal and you sign and pay your retainer to secure your date! This comes with the delivery of our planning & style guide, and vendor referrals!

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS
We'll work with you and/or your planner about two months prior your event to come up with a seamless photo timeline that reflects the most important moments to our couples. I can not emphasize enough how important a great timeline is for a wedding! (trust me, I should know!)

ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Engagement sessions can be done anytime, from the day after you get engaged up until right before you get married! It is entirely up to our couples, it is a great way to get to know us, and get comfortable in front of the lens!

YOUR WEDDING
We'll be there every step of the way, from taking the details shots of your shoes, bustling your dress or holding your bouquet! We are there to help your day run smoothly all while making sure those important moments live on through our imagery .

Once editing is completed, typically 10-12 weeks after wedding date, you will receive an online viewing gallery where you can download, share your favorite images. This is also the time to design or order any printed products!

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes we travel all over to capture beautiful love stories! We are based on the beautiful California Central Coast, however don't be afraid to reach out, more than likely we are happy to come to you! (Especially if it's Tahoe or Hawaii!)
How should I prepare for my session?
We will walk you through every step of the way, from timing, wardrobe selections and any other questions you may have! Just don't show up "hangry" (we won't either) haha!
What kind of equipment do you use?
We believe that each camera has it's own strengths! That's why we shoot a combination of Canon and Sony DSLR cameras. We also use a Contax 645 for our medium format film photography.
How many images should I expect?
75-125 images per hour of shooting. For an 8 hour collection that would be 600-1000 images.
When do I receive my images?
Full wedding galleries are normally delivered within 10-12 from wedding date. We take pride in making sure each image is absolutely gorgeous! However, we usually send out SNEAK PEEKS to our couples shortly after
the wedding (we know you are dying to see them...so are we)!
How do you describe your style?
We love whimsical images that capture the way you interact with your person. We are obsessed with light and are always chasing it! Lastly, we want your images to be timeless and thats why are edits are true to color. It is very important to us to have a variety for your gallery, we include both beautifully posed portraits but our absolute favorites are the "in the moment" photo journalist images!
How long do you keep my images?
We keep images for 1 year and are backed up in 3 different locations. Online viewing galleries remain active for 6 months.
DO YOU SHOOT FILM OR DIGITAL IMAGES?
We are considered a hybrid photographer, shooting both digital and film. Our collections are either fully digital or have hybrid options.
